Where did the name come from: I lived in England for several years when I was growing up and became accustomed to people calling houses "cottages." My husband and I recently purchased a home on a street called Parkwood, so it seemed natural to blend the two together.
How did you get started on etsy?: I've been an avid photographer for years and have had several people comment on my work, so in April I decided to go out on a limb and open my shop.
Any advice for new etsy sellers that you have learned?: Patience! I've found that it takes a lot of time to find your "niche" on Etsy. Many of my sales are actually trades with other shops, which is a great way to get your work noticed. Don't give up!
What do you want customers to know about you and/or your product: All of the photographs in my shop are taken by myself or my husband; and are professionally printed, signed and dated. I take great care in wrapping and packaging to ensure that your print will arrive safely.
Shameless addictions (retail therapy, etc): Coffee, chocolate, books, and Etsy!Anything else interesting you'd like to share with us? We strive to update our shop on a monthly basis, so check with us often for new arrivals.
