Happy Labor Day Everyone!

A day full of plans was changed as my little guy woke up with some stomach bug that had his little heart throwing up and mommy wishing she could make it all better! It's only the second time he's ever been sick like that, and he's a champ. A few extra hugs and a morning full of nothing but Rugrats on Netflix and momy holding him in bed fixed it all :)

A quick pic from the wedding monkey was in last weekend :) That's the Ohio River in the background. The wedding was on the roof top and it was a beautiful day for it!

 I was asked recently to make a golf banner :)

Matthew turned 5!!! ARG!!!

Well, my little man is a whole Hand now :) He is 5 and I can hardly believe it! His birthday was a few weeks ago and I'm not going to lie, there is a lot of stress on this momma to have a fAB party since I happen to help others do that on a daily basis!

We had a great turn out at the park in the Kentucky heat and his closest friends and our wonderful family showed up to help him celebrate!

I had the picnic catered by Mark's Feed Store- they have FAB BBQ! We had Pork, Chicken, Buns, Green Beans, Potato Salad,  Cole Slaw, and Buttermilk pies!

The kiddos enjoyed chicken nuggest and a fruit arrangement from Edilbe Arrangements!

This was the sweets table!

 Included above are red velvet cake pops, pirate face cookies, anchor cookies, fruit arrangement, cupcakes, chocolate pops, favor cups, brownies and nuts! Not to mention his cake!! The cupcakes were red velvet and yellow, so the cake was top carrot and bottom white!

 Here is his cake! (Cakes by Lisa E) There was a fondant pirates hook on top, but it broke the day we picked it up. Oh well. He needed a candle somewhere!!

 If you notice, there are edible cupcake toppers that are pirate faces :) The favors consisted of red adn white striped boes with an eye patch around them. Inside were pirate coloring books, crayong, hand clappers, pirate wristbands, red hots, lemon heads, pirate paddle ball, etc. and custom suckers in covers that said Matthew is 5!

ANd these are my lovely girls from high school from made the hour and a hlaf trip up for the party. We have always had it at my parents every year in my hometown, and with this being the first year not down there, I felt so loved that they and there kiddos came up for the day! Between us we have 8 cute kids :)

Wish I had gotten pictures of the rest of the decor, but oh well! There were paper fans in red, black and white.  Red and white polka dot fabric table runners. Polka dot ballons, personalized centerpieces, etc! Shew- just not enough time to get it all!!

A card (Yes, you read that right ;)

Okay, no one promise to faint :) I actually have some cards and layouts to share in the next couple days!!! Back in July, I got to spend the weekend at a FAB crop with some of my favorite gals, including my little sis :) I seriously only worked on 2 "work" related projects, and that wasn't until the last day! I got like 6 cards, a gift bag adn tag, and about 15 layouts done!! Vacation is scrapped folks! Shew! :) So now for the whole thing that started my love for paper.....a card :)

I am IN LOVE with this October Afternoon paper, cat eye chalks, Studio Calico wooden buttons, SRM stickers, and PTI Twine :)

Cricut Vinyl Tutorial Revisted & New projects!

Hi there!! Hope all is well! i have had  a few people ask me about vinyl lately, so I thought I would show you a tutorial I put together a while back! You can see it step by step here .  (I did this for a design team I was on at the time!) I will note that your blade should be set on a 2, not a 6 as I typed in the article originally.

Vinyl is fabulous to work with! From baby gifts, home decor, and so much more! The possibilities are really endless!

Elmers Craft & Tell and a Giveaway worth $140!!!!!

I was so excited to be a part of their Craft and Tell project!!

Well, after a surprise surgery for the hubby cancelled my first date for my Craft and Tell, I got the perfect chance to host at a weekend scrap retreat for some of the most wonderful scrappers and crafters around!! All the girls had a blast with their new goodies. A few people who couldn't come were sent a fab goodie bag from me as well and they were super excited! All in all: Amanda, Elizabeth, KC, Dana, Raegan, Mindy, Laurel, Vicki, Lindsay, Patty, Melissa, and myself LOVE all the new goodness!!! It's so much fun to give away $400 worth of goodies!!

Elmers has come a long way into our hobby! I think they seriously have a product for EVERY craft I love! From paper crafts and scrapbooking to woodworking and fabric- they have me covered! I LOVE the Glue Runners and Glue Dots!!! Not to mention the scissors and self healing mats from Xacto!

I seriously cannot believe how fast July got here! 2011 is over half way over people!!! Where did it go?!

Well, I love it when people ask me to create something new. It's just nice to let NEW creative ideas flow! I designed a custom bridal shower package for a customer and she wanted a pin for the Bride to wear while she was opening her gifts that matched the decor! Well, it took a bit of trial and error, but here is what I came up with!

I little shimmery tulle in the colors of the shower and wah-lah!

One day when my sister decides to settle down, I will have this bridal shower thing whipped!!! :)

Taking a mid day break today to go to the noon Zumba class. I think I need to to kick my Monday off right!!! I got a message from my "big sister" in my sorority. Her little girl was turning one and she asked me to make a banner and sign for her! Well sure!  Here is the way Lizzie's sign turned out! Can't wait until Jenny sends me the pics from the party!! I will share for sure!

Hey there! I know it seems like I fell off the face of the earth, but I didn't! I am sure you know all to well the hustle and bustle that is summer. Take that add a mini vaycay that got cut short, vacation bible school,  tball, etc. I have been blessed to have a very busy business and I have been working as much as possible, but still being the kind of mom I want to be! Matthew got to stay on vacation when I had to fly home early. He had a blast and I was so glad he got to stay.
