Did you guess right??? TEXAS :)

Well, I spent Wednesday through Saturday in Fort Worth/Dallas, Texas. My mom had a convention thingy she went to and invited my sister, aunt, monkey, and I along. Well, Matthew and I declined since it had just been 3 weeks since Dustin's surgery. Well, the stars aligned and opporutnity knocked, and Dustin was going to be cared for, so Matthew and I flew down and arrived at the hotel to suprise them. It was great to see the smiles on their faces. After a shaky start and a tummy bug, Matthew was ready to rock :)
Matthew was like a kid in a candy store. In the case you don't know, my son wants to be a bullrider when he grows up and I believe him. LOL. He knows ever PBR bull's name, every bull rider, the rules, the gear, etc. He even asked for tickets to the PBR in Nashville in August, which of course he is getting from my parents. 3 days 2 nights, of bull riding and fun for him in Nashville. So while in Fort Worth, we went to the Stockyards and he went to a rodeo, dressed to the nines. Bull riding vest, chaps, his boots, hat, riding gloves, and all. I should have charged a fee for all the people who asked me if they could take a picture with him. I lost count. SO CUTE and he ate it up. Even the bull fighters (clowns) spotted him and became BFF's with him! My dad should be proud. One big country boy that has rubbed off onto another little one :) Thanks dad for encouraging my little guy to be a bull rider. I am starting to make my therapy appointments already to deal with it :)
A few highlights from the trip:

(He made friends with one of the bull riders and he let him try on his helmet. Needless to say he added this to his birthday list :)
My aunt, sister, Monkey, and I after the rodeo :)
(Dallas Cowboys Stadium. Thank you to the super sweet guy who we talked into letting us go through locked gates to get a better picture :) He was super sweet :)

We had a great time. Even hit Texas Ranger Field and Six Flags Hurricane Harbour. Many scrappy pictures :) It was really nice to get out of town for a few.
The sun and waterpark were fab, but the time with my little guy was amazing!

Great pics! You will need the Old West Cricut cart if you don't have it already.
