Hi!!!

First- Happy Veteran's Day. Thank you to all those who have served in our armed forces. I am happy to say that in my family we are represented by the Army and Navy, but not to forget the Marines & Air Force. My sincerest thank you to each!

Next- a bit of yummy news- I made the Just Buggin' Design Team! So excited to bring you more fun Cricut projects- Did I mention that I love my gypsy more and more every time I use it :) Head over to the Just Buggin blog to sign up as a follower or to bookmark it! Great inspiration for sure!

Next- I am SLOWLY transition my store to a new storefront. Etsy is great, and I love the people, but I pay CRAZY fees each month for listings and percentage of sales, on top of the expected PayPal fees. My new storefront costs a flat fee up front, 1/10th of what my Etsy bill is a month, and no listing, no percentage. This translates into lower prices since I don't have to add a dollar here and there to the price to cover those fees. For bigger ticket item stores, it's not much, but when you are selling for 1.50-10.00, it adds up! SO, what to expect?- No signing in or account needed to buy, you do need to pay with credit/debit/paypal balance with PayPal though, and ALL my cards going on the site will be $1.75 each. Period. I sold a ton at the open house recently and needed to move them, so this will be perfect! I will let you all know when it is fully stocked and ready :) I will be keeping my Etsy until I feel like my customers are comfortable with the other cart!

Just wanted to share! I was asked by a customer to make tags for her to use on the tops of baby food jars as shower favors. (She is filling with Jellybeans in the colors too!) I LOVE that I could combine this with this weeks challenge at Just Buggin'. The paper has bling to it and I used the stork cut on the New Arrival cartridge :) Happy Saturday!

It's Fall Ya'll

This card is perfect for this Kentucky weather! The leaves are changing and falling, but in KY you never know what to expect. One day last week it was 80 and gorgeous and the next day 55 and raining. Needless to say, my allergies are confused :) The PP - patterned paper- is from the SU Hostess Level 1 choices. The Stamps are SU- Season's of Friendship & The ribbon is Soft Suede, one of SU's In Color's this time. I cu a few leaves and popped them up to give it dimension and slit the sides of the tree to "wrap" the ribbon around the tree! Happy Fall Ya'll :)

Mod Christmas :)

I know I promised to show these the other day, just haven't had time! I used the One Sheet Wonder Technique and I embossed and stamped these sheets and ended up getting 20 cards out of the pieces. I took pics of the steps and I will share soon! I love using other colors for Christmas and not just red and green, so this modern set fits me!!! These are up in my etsy shoppe too :) Love ya'll!!!

It was a completely random act, their home was chosen only due to its secluded surroundings."

Tootsie Ghosts!

Hey all HAPPY HALLOWEEN! I am going home to visit my parents and take Matthew and his friend and his mom to see the family and go trick or treating. I feel more safe doing so in my small little hometown "where everybody knows your name" :) (Think Mayberry here, lol!) I made these tootsie pop sucker ghosts for Matthew's halloween party yesterday! I remember my mom making them for us as kids, so tradition is good! Oh- some of you asked abou tthe "leaves" on yesterday's post- the chipboard elements including the ribbon slider chip piece are from Cosmo Cricket and I picked tem up under teh embellsihment tab at http://www.diecutsrus.com/ There are a ton of cool shapes in the pack! Have a great day and be safe!!! OH- and Stephenie- SUPER excited about the Cats! (University of Kentucky for those who don't know me :) I bleed blue!!! Tomorrow is a "black out" game where everyone is wearing black- so fun get it "black cats" + Halloween :) Favre has a HUGE game on Sunday- And yes, we are Yankees fans around here! SO GO YANKS! The walls of the "man cave" at my house is adorn with framed jerseys of all the Yankees greats- Jeter, Ruth, DiMaggio, Munsen, Rivera, ARod, Mantle, etc. Matthew nursery bedding was all Yankees too :) So I proudly wore my ALCS Champs shirt today and my new UK Black & Pink tomorrow I got from Big Blue Madness :) (What can I say I have always been a sports junkie!

Long day :)

Did you think I had forgotten you all today??? NO!!!!!! I was actually gone all morning with Matthew on his preschool field trip to the fire house! He had a blast! Did you know that the total weight of a fireman's gear is 68 lbs!!!! I didn't! :) We all learned a lot. Well, I was super busy yesterday. I made 28 cards!!! :) Well, 20 of them are all the same! I will show you those and how I made them later on this week! Here is a cusotm order I made a sample for. The lady is throwing a bridal shower and it's lingerie type of theme :) How cute are these guys all going to be! I will show you the matching Bride-To-Be banner when i get it done too!!!! Halloween Banner :)

I had a custom request for this Halloween Banner the other day in my store. I LOVE the way it turned out with the colors, die cut spider (Doodlecharms Cricut Cartridge) and Just Jawing Skeleton from SU! I hope this girl in Florida loves it too!!!! It's Tuesday and Tuesday's means Challenge Day at Die Cuts R Us Design Team Blog!!! Today we challenge you to make a "Male Friendly" type of project. We are all showcasing the Boyfriend Collection by Cosmo Cricket. I sat down with my DT goodies and made this cute card and a gift tag to match. My favorite thing is the ADORABLE chipboard thumbtack!!!!!!!!! I was so excited when Die Cuts R Us got the chipboard elements in stock! I saw them at Archiver's but she is SO much more reasonable than Archiver's and since her shipping is always Priority, I had them in my hands in 2 days! (Along with a few other things I picked up for great prices, lol!) OH- I was not happy that Archiver's only offered some of the CC collection and the rest were all in $15 packs. Well, there are some papers in the pack I didn't like! I hate it when you can't buy one of this one of that!!! Guess that is why I buy it at DCRU! lol. Have a great day!
