Cupcake Crazy

If you have been around this blog long enough, you know I love cupcakes like a 5 year old. Not so much eating them as I am not big into sweets (yes, I am not normal), but anything with cupcakes on it, toppers, making/baking them, decorating with them, etc :) SO, when I had a customer ask me to come up with a gift for a preschool teacher who LOVED cupcakes and to hand out candy to her class.....this was a NO brainer :)

This baby is good size! about 7.25 inches tall and over 4 inches wide :)

Tulle Puff Headbands!

Hey all! Just a quick note because I am so behind I might as well be in last week :) On top of the norm- Dustin in doctors, Matthew being a busy 4 year old, house, etc- work has been booming, BUT this must be the end of the month rush. SO many people messaging me for last minute orders. SHEW! I'm not talking a week away, 2 weeeks, I am talking about convos to this tone, "I'll pay to overnight it to me." Well, that's FAB BUT I have to creat eit for it to be overnighted :) No matter how I try to arrange it- there is only one me and only so many hours in a day :) Blessed to be busy, but again- SHEW! LOL. On top of that- I have been making these for my mom's store.

My mom owns The Baby Boutique in Glasgow, KY and has some FAB kiddo accessories, clothes, gifts, etc. She does custom embroidery, custom bibs, burps, diaper bags, etc. The customers LOVE the handmade side of it! So one of my BFF's from H.S., who works at the boutique on Thursdays, and I have been making these babies to add to the store. Nautically Speaking...

Hello all my bloggy friends! Sorry to be MIA for a few days, but hubby had to be in the doctor's office 4 out of 5 days this week. Between that, the wild adn crazy four year old, my etsy shoppe, house, etc.....not much extra time for blogging....or sleep for that matter :) I also had this super cute birthday package to do!

I got word from Hudson's mom that his 1st party decor looked fab!!!

THAT is why I do what I do right now.

Knowing that something I made was special enough to adorn the walls, cupcakes, area for someone's child's FIRST birthday party.

Pretty big compliment in my book :)

Thank you to all the mom's out there who have let me share in your child's special day! I love it!!

Flower Clips and Giveaway Notice!

Well, the summer in Kentucky is beautiful, but if you live here or have visited in the 'dawg dayz' you know our humidity is killer! I went for a run one night it was really bad and came home and told my hubby I might as well have gone to the pool and swam the 2 miles. You can cut it with a knife! So, what's a girl to do on a humid Saturday while her hubby is sleeping and little guy is in Nashville at the PBR with her parents??? CREATE!  (and maybe a little bit of cleaning too :)

I got the new Cricut Lite: Cherry Limeade and Cupcake Wrappers the other night. I also got the preorder I had for Country Life the other day!

Okay. back to crafting.  Now I didn;t make these yesterday (Thank you evening Thunderstorm who made it impossible to photograph outside) I made these a few weeks back, but I love them! Simple flower clips/pin combos! Wear them as a pin to dress up a top or dress or wear them in you hair, on a bag, etc. :) A couple are actually just on bobby pin blanks.  Enjoy!

A quick Cowboy Birthday recap :)

What a great Saturday it was! Matthew turned FOUR and his party was wonderful. Great  "cowboy" food (hot dogs, corn on the cob, baked beans, pasta salad, chips, etc), "cowboy" sweets (White cake, chocolate cupcakes, cookies, s'mores,etc), horses, bounce house, 45 balloons in the shapes of Texas Longhorns, boots, etc., my grandparents and friends all dressed up, and a super cute cowboy :)

More pics to come later :) But for now, pics of my cowboy and I taking a ride, his birthday banner, and his cupcake toppers and goodie bags :)
