So Thankful...

Hello everyone! Hope you are having a wonderful day thus far! My little guy and I are off to one of the local homeless shelter's today to take pillows, blankets, wrapped gifts, cookies, and more to those who come out. It is really imposrtant to me to start this tradition young. We go a few times a year, but ecspecially focus on Chrustmas time because kiddos can get caught up in the "gimme gimme gimme" and not enough in the "thank you thank you". There is a bigger picture to it all, and I want him to understand that. We have gone through his toys and pulled out boxes full to donate (We will take these in the spring since we have many this time from church members) He is most excited about singing and serving lunch :) So, wanted to share a LO I made last night :) I entered it into JuJuBee's Online crop, and it won :) The words on the flourish read "So Thankful" for him and so many other things...I am. TFL!

Beautiful layout.....love the frame and colors you have used.
You are so right about starting out when they are very young to teach them how good it feels to give to those less fortunate.
Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Sammye Jo, the layout is wonderful but more importantly, the special lesson you are teaching little Matthew is wonderful too.

Smiles!

You are an incredible mother Sammye!!! It's moms like you that make GREAT kids/adults and the lessons that you teach Matthew have so many incredible rewards here on earth and on the "other" side. Not only will Matthew reap the rewards, but you and Dust too for "training him the way he should go"! Keep up the great job girl and have yourself a very Merry Christmas and blessed New Year!

Hugs,
Yvette

I love the layout, Sammye. It's beautiful and yet the focal point is still the picture. Great job!!!

You're doing such an awesome thing with your son to teach him to start giving, not just things, but of himself too, at a young age. I commend you for doing this. You're a good mommy. :)
