Hi you FAB readers you :) I REALLY appreciate your support after yesterday's nutty post. I'm nuts, but it is what makes me, ME :) LOL. SO, on with the positive!
I LOVE my customers. They are the cutest things ever. AND they have great ideas....
Like this photo banner.
Super adorbale customer Sarah wanted a name banner for her duahgter's birthday, but that wasn't all. She wanted a blank one to add pictures from birth to 1 year. This is how it turned out and I LOVE it. SO, now it is offered in my shop!
I brainstormed possibilities for it and came up with a ton- baby shower, wedding reception, and more listed in the shop!!! LOVE IT! Like I said, my customers are the cutest :) So, thanks for the FAB idea Sarah! And for her sending me these pics of it in action. Her BFF is a photographer! Didn't she do a great job!!!!
those of you who know me, I am a "positive polly" not a "negative nancy". well, today things have caught up with me I do believe. So much has gone on with my family, losses, health issues, etc. in the past couple of years and I try to take it all in stride.
i KNOW there is a reason. I have complete FAITH in God's plan.
BUT, I am human.
well, dustin, my hubby, has been having even more trouble after the 2 previous surgeries, all for us to get a call last week after another CT scan to say that something isn' right. still. so, again we are on someone else's time waiting for them to figure it out. this means more surgery, maybe even the same one. for the third time. if that is possible. poor guy is taking it hard. he just wants to be his version of "okay" and get back to life. He has been in this house for a year now. talk about burnt. i know he wishes he could help out more with matthew. watch him, hang out more, go outside and play.
i know he wishes he could help out more around the house. help clean, grocery errands, etc. but in the reality, he can't. he isn't supposed to be driving yet. (the occasional trip to the gas station to get a fountain drink so he doesn't lose his sanity is necessary though, but he pays for it the day after.)
he is stuck. he is at other's mercy. the doctors, the healthcare fiasco, etc.
he just wants to go back to his workplace, continue to build the business his dad worked so hard to do, and for us to be a normal family.
My Mother-In-Law is about th same. They are hoping to have her in patient rehab by the weekend. Still so much to be determined abotu her health and such. continuing to pray for her. Dust is obviously very concerned about his mom, as am I.
I PRAISE God in all this we have not had to worry financially. i am very thankful for 2 successful businesses that allow us to not have a financial strain.
but money nor success cannot buy the little things we really want.
good health for all.
to be able to go to the movies together.
take a quick weekend trip.
for Matthew not to develop Marfan's.
to have a campout.
to play a baseball game together- all 3 of us.
to go to a baseball game together.
you get my drift. the simple things most take for granted.
anyways- my headaches have been continous for over a week right now and I have the peace of mind of knowing my MRI was clear and well.
so, I know that they are stress related. i think i do a really good job of hiding my stress. might be why the headaches linger so much.
i am really missing my brother right now too. something about spring. the newness, the life, the wish that he was here to enjoy my little guy. because i so know he would.
and it's Easter. last Easter was the last get together for my family before my grandpa passed. my first grandparent to lose. again something about the spring.
i wish we lived closer to my family. it's only an hour and a half, but i want to be next door :) Matthew wouldn't know what to do :)
So, i know this has sounded like a depressing rant, but know that this blog, my crafts, is how I destress, I take my stress out by creating, it makes me smile and happy. i LOVE sharing with each of you and I appreciate each and every comment.
so, i am sorry if I have been a bad friend, bad blogger, and follower, as my comments around blog world have been scarse the last few weeks.
Now, because I am that "positive polly" I will close this post with my blessings :)
my family (dust & Matthew, mom/dad, sis, etc.)
my friends (ecspecially the ones who understand me :)
spring :) & warmer weather
my overall health
my health and the health of my family- I KNOW things can always get worse.
my beautiful little boy and his sense of humor. (if you need a smile, borrow a 3 year old for a day :)
Thank you for allowing my rant :) Take a minute to think of your little blessings.
i plan to continue to count my rainbows, not the thunderstorms.

Hey all! Have you heard of CSN Stores?? I don't know about you, but my time is super precious. Working from home, being a full time mom and wife, church and community activities, volunteer work, etc. I have really enjoyed finding an online store like CSN. No matter what I need, be it kids bedding (you really should click and look around!!), cool kitchen tools, or a new set of sheets for my bedroom, I have found it there! Not to mention that there is FREE SHIPPING on so many things! Love it!
CSN, is a collection of 200+ stores (tons more about them here), is sponsoring a review by me! I am so excited to do it! I am being sent this super awesome pot and after using it I will be writing a review here and adding this to my cabinet forever!
A Reston Lloyd Calypso Basics 8 Quart Stock Pot with Glass Lid in Lime
I have 3 other sizes of this pot, in this FAB color, and I am SO excited to get this one! I hear some homemade chicken noodle soup calling my name :)
SO, look for a review of this bad boy soon and maybe even a few recipes to go along with it! You should really check out CSN!
I have not posted about this yet because I usually preschedule all my posts a week in advance. So. Last Friday my Mother-In-Law was taken to the hospital in San Antonio and was diagnosed with a bleeding brain anuersym. The first minimally invasive surgery did not work, so they had to perform surgery on Saturday night to go into her brain and clamp the bleeding. She came through surgery and has been disoriented and confused, all which come with the surgery. We are in Kentucky. Hubby cannot make a trip down with all his back issues right now, so he has been pretty worried about his mom. (They actually have a house in Port Aransas and they split time between Port A and Louisville through the year.) SO, this week has been a bit hectic. Phone calls, updates, explanations, etc. Busy week. So, any prayers or thoughts you would like to send her way would be appreciated!

Happy Saturday everyone! My beloved Kentucky Wildcats pulled off a FANTASTIC win today! So proud of my boys! My BLUE roots run deep. :) On with the crafty stuff, lol!!! I got this LO done at the crop I went to with my sister last weekend.
Our sweet neighbors had a bike from their grandson that they did not need anymore and offered to give it to Matthew. So, we got him his helmet with his birthday present in August and then the neighbors gave him his bike :) I love how the LO shows the story. Hiding of the eyes, Jane giving it to him, and then Dust and I helping him ride. This was a during the week before Dust's surgery. SO, it was nice looking at the photos of him outside getting to play around with us some.
I have much more to share from teh crop :) Don't forget to sign up on yesterday's post for the Dear Lizzy giveaway :)

Hey everyone! Sorry I left you hanging for a day! Yesterday was my anniversary and I tried not to spend my extra time (whatever THAT means, lol) in my craft room. My hubby and I met 10 years ago :) We started dating his freshman, my sophomore year of college. After a few years we did the on again off again bit, both having other relationships, but somehow found our way back to each other, even though we were then in different states and time zones :) Fate I guess :) 4 years of marriage and a three year old later, we are as happy as ever :)
I'll be back to announce the winner of my stamp giveaway and to offer up another one! See ya in a little bit!
It is a gorgeous day here in the Bluegrass!!! Matthew and I have been blowing bubbles and making plans for spring time weather :) I love winter- the snow makes everything look clean :) LOL! BUT those who know me know I long to were flip flops all year :) Here is a LO fromthe past summer that remind me of the beautiful days to come!!
The adorable journaling stamp is from Unity and I am digging it :)
Hope you have a day full of scrap worthy memories :)
Hi all! Another creation today for the weekly challenge at DCRU. You have to use a handmade flower! I have been having a blast making the little ones like I attached to these projects :) Super easy and fun! (The DT used Origins by Basic Grey for the challenge and Dew Drops!) First up is a fun gift! Who wouldn't like getting a bunch of yummy Copic's in this neat little tote filled with paper!
Next I covered this notepad and made a cute topper of sorts. Added a magnet and wah-lah eye candy for the fridge :)
Today is my Inspirational post over at DCRU DT. These are the 3 cards I made for the post! If you would like to see more details, or buy some of the items used, stop by the DT blog :) Happy looking :) (Did I mention I love Cosmo Cricket?!?!)
It's another Tuesday Trigger at Moxie Fab. This one brought to you by Kim WIlson. Here is my take that I will be entering :)
AND- Holy Batman! I just noticed that I am only 5 sales away from hitting 700 in my Etsy shoppe!!! That is so cool. I really want to hit over 1,000 soon and celebrate with some HUGE blog candy :) How fun that will be. My customers are the best :)
So, my Dear Lizzy Collection from American Crafts arrived (most of it anyways) and I got to work creating :) I have made a Mini Album, a Mini Album Kit for the DIY peeps :), and have the paper packs for sale in my shoppe :)
